Oh, that's easy. [Thomas lead her out of the elevator and down the hall, pulling his keys from his pockets.]

They're working with the aliens. Not sure why, but they are.

Maybe they want to take over the planet. Isn't that how it usually goes? [She slips into his apartment the second he gets the door open a crack, flashing him a mischievous smile.]

Well, they have compared us to weeds growing in a garden. So ...

[Thomas follows her in. It's a bit of a mess. There are photos of a younger Thomas with either his mother or younger brother on the walls. Oddly, there are a couple of sketches of a few other women hung up as well.

The living room itself has the usual furniture, as well as a workbench strewn with papers.]

Oh? What's this? [ she skips over to admire one of the many sketches.] Is there someone you're not
telling me about, Thomas?

[Thomas shakes his head, chuckling.]

Nope. They're just some people who've shown up in my memories alot. I think they were his friends.

Well at least he was surrounded by attractive people. You draw? I didn't know you were an artist!!

Oh, I'm not really. It's just a hobby and you get plenty of practice drawing as an engineer. Although, that's more straight lines.

Like I said, it's a just a hobby I do a bit when I'm bored. [He shrugs and walks into th living room before flopping down on the couch.]

Oh ok. It's down the hall, 1st door to the left. [Thomas looks like he's deep in thought for a moment.]

No wait, 2nd is the bathroom. 1st is my room.

[how do you even screw that up? Does he pee in his room often?] Your room~? Hiding something in there? [She hovers around the door to his room, threatening to peek inside.]

[Thomas is the sort that remembers better by doing, not giving directions.]

Uh, not really? It's just my room and a mess so ... [Thomas gets to his feet and guides Pia away from his door and toward the bathroom.]

So yeah, here's the bathroom.

[Thomas shrugs and starts back to the living room.]

[She disappears into the washroom, but pops back out a few moments later] Nope, I'm pretty sure it's a scientific fact. It's like your brain is super good at abstract thought. You have got to give yourself a bit more credit.
